Tuesday: We read a story about Pat the Bat. We practiced making words from the “at” word family. In music we played the button game. We started practicing number writing in math. We talked about the new month, November, during calendar time.
Wednesday: We went to P.E. and played the exercise dice. In math we practiced patterns (AB, ABC, AAB, AABB). We also practiced writing the numbers 3 and 4. We made words from the “op” word family. We also wrote “op” words.
Thursday: Today we talked about germs and read a book called The Bernstein Bears Come Clean. We learned the “ug” word family. We wrote “ug” words. In math we played roll and record with dice. We also sorted pumpkins.
Friday: We finished our number writing practice book. We read The Little Engine that Could. We did writer’s workshop and talked about the part of a letter. We read the story Dear Annie. We did the T page in our word book.
All About Me: We learned about Alexis.
