Monday: We talked about less and more and played the monster squeeze game. We talked about learning centers. We went to music and practiced a dance. Our new sight word is “and.” Our new star letter is Cc and we did the capital letter C handwriting.
Tuesday: We measured with unifix cubes. We also went to music class and the LMC. We made a setting and puppets for Jack and Jill and retold the story. In science we started learning about the 4 seasons.Wednesday: We had a visit from “Jessica the Germ” to remind us how to wash our hands. We solved pocket problems in math. We had our first learning centers. We had Daily 5 to become better readers and writers. We read The Gingerbread Man.
Thursday: We talked about Thanksgiving during KinConnect. We went to P.E. and played fitness tag. In math we cut out number cards and put them in order. We reread The Gingerbread Man and made puppets and a setting for the story. In Science we matched the trees to the correct seasons.
Friday: We read The Gingerbread Man then we retold the story with our puppets and setting. We had calendar and practiced counting backwards. We had writer’s workshop. We read Caps for Sale and answered story problems.All About Me: We will have Matthew’s all about me on Monday.
