Tuesday: We learned the name and sound for Bb. We had music class and sang a song called “If you’re happy and you know it.” We learned how to use Stop-Walk-Talk if someone is bothering us.
Wednesday: We had art class with Ms. Bader. We went outside for P.E. and played hot and cold. We learned the sound that “ai” makes. We practiced sound and motion patterns in math. We made an idea sheet for writer’s workshop.
Thursday: We learned the Jj sounds. We went to P.E. and did a fitness test. We wrote a connection to Clifford at the Circus. We did PALS today. We practiced spelling color words.
Friday: We learned the sound for “oa.” We read Go Away Big, Green Monster. We went to P.E. and played with bean bags. We finished reading Clifford books and made Clifford ears.
All About Me: We learned about Ms. Wulf.
Reminders: Periodically, the kindergartners do activities at school that require them to cut words or pictures out of magazines or catalogs. If you have any old magazines that you would like to donate to our classroom for these activities please have your child bring them to school. Thanks!
